Lisa Rossi
For nearly two decades, Lisa M. Rossi has empowered her clients by helping them to make smart choices about money so they may achieve their goals and keep fulfilling their dreams. An avid sports enthusiast all her life, Lisa is a competitor, not only for herself but for her clients. Lisa’s client base primarily includes retirees, small business owners, and corporate executives to whom she brings a broad comprehensive perspective on wealth management guidance.Based on lifelong experience, Lisa is keenly aware of the need among small business owners for advice beyond the scope of investment planning.Lisa’s family owns a closely held family business as does her husband, her brother-in-law and other family members.
She has positioned herself as a specialist in helping small businesses address strategic issues that are critical for their long-term success and is frequently quoted in industry publications and business journals. Asking the right questions is the first step to maximizing their profits on the sale or transfer of a business. Often asked by her clients “What is my business worth?”, she suggests the question be re-phrased to “What can I get for my business?”In addition to her entrepreneurial experience, Lisa was also
a top executive at a large corporation for over a decade. As such, she recognizes the importance of understanding and maximizing company benefits and compensation plans.
Employees are more responsible today than ever for financing
their own retirement and Lisa advocates for her clients to integrate these company plans with their own personal strategies for financial security and to create sustainable lifetime income.Over the last 18 years, Lisa has worked with clients from large corporations such as IBM, GE, Pfizer, KPMG, Master- Card and Starwood Hotels to name a few.
She finds that, regardless the company a client works for, they all have the same fears and need to be more prepared financially and emotionally for the Retirement Red Zone, the five years before and the five years after ending a lifelong career. By addressing these fears, setting realistic expectations and helping manage retirement spending Lisa has watched many of her clients enjoy their “golden years” with dignity and confidence.
Lisa’s passion for her profession and champion spirit has ranked her in the top 5% of financial advisors and in the top 1% of women advisors both at JP Morgan Chase1 nationally and at her current broker dealer, NPC of America2.
Lisa lives in northern Westchester with her husband and two children. She enjoys golf, running, reading and spending time with family and friends. However, along with her competitive nature, there is a charitable side. She serves in her local community as the Fundraising Chair for a woman’s club dedicated to community service and is also an avid donor to children’s charities. In 2005, armed with her CFP® designation, Lisa became an independent financial advisor to play a bigger hands-on role
in her clients’ lives.
With her entrepreneurial spirit and newfound objectivity (something that may not be available anymore at large institutions), Lisa focuses on personal service and old fashioned relationship planning instead of product driven marketing. Before joining LEXCO Wealth Management, Inc. in 2005, Lisa spent 10 years as an executive at JP Morgan Chase where she was responsible for the investment division in Greenwich, CT.Lisa holds a BA in Finance and frequently attends educational conferences, including executive education programs at the University of Pennsylvania’s worldrenowned Wharton School of Business.Lisa feels blessed to be involved in a career which is both rewarding and challenging everyday, allowing her the ability to help her clients live a life they love and dreamed of while saving the two most valuable resources as they see it, time and money.
